2025 World Smart City Awards Asia Region Officially Launched, Spotlighting City Innovation and Transformation

BEIJING,March 12,2025 -- 2025 Region World Smart City Awards (Special focus on city transformation and innovation in Asia) officially kicked off. This prestigious award is organized by the Smart City Expo World Congress and powered by the World Smart City Awards.


2025 World Smart City Awards Asia Region Officially Launched

The awards aim to recognize outstanding projects,enterprises,and leaders in Asian smart city development,promoting knowledge-sharing,cooperation among cities,and driving diversified development. By encouraging the exchange of successful experiences and effective solutions,the awards aim to accelerate Asia's smart city collaborations and facilitate a digital,green,low-carbon,and sustainable urban transformation.

In 2024,29 cities from 9 countries and regions across Asia submitted proposals,including 89 entries for the "Best Projects" and 50 entries for the "Enterprise Category."

All shortlisted entities will be invited to participate deeply in the "2025 Tomorrow.City Shanghai" event,scheduled from September 2 to 6,2025,joining key decision-makers from governments,academia,and various industries. Finalists and award-winning teams will receive trophies and certificates honoring their smart-city excellence,and their outstanding cases will be featured in an online database,providing valuable insights accessible globally.
