Us sanctions, illegal actions

2020-12-18

China has decided to impose sanctions on four people with U.S. institutional links who have acted viciously on issues related to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR)

China will apply sanctions to four individuals: Senior Director for Asia at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) John Knaus, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific programs at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Manpreet Anand, Crystal Rosario of the NDI, and NDI Program Manager in Hong Kong Kelvin Sit.

The four people‘s conduct in Hong Kong is ugly, shoddy, inciting the right and wrong, interfering in internal affairs, which not only endangers China's national security, but also harms the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and China-U.S. relations. The sanctions on these four people is not only necessary but also just.
